Vincent Vandaele

Vincent Vandaele, born in 1989 in Antwerp, studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp from 2009 to 2011 and continued his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich from 2011 to 2013. After living and working at the Atelier Champs Elysées in Ixelles, Brussels from 2013 to 2018, he completed his studies in the sculpture class of Olaf Metzel and was awarded the Diploma Prize in 2019 by the Erwin and Gisela von Steiner Foundation. In 2021, Vincent Vandaele was selected for the Kickstarter grant as part of the special funding program NEUSTART KULTUR of the Stiftung Kunstfonds. In 2022, Vincent Vandaele published his first book as part of the Debutant*innen exhibition at the Galerie der Künstler*innen in Munich, for which he was awarded the "Debütant*innen" Prize. Since 2023, Vandaele has been a fellow of the Atelier Scholarship of Deutsche Bank. Vincent Vandaele lives and works in Munich.
